Falcons unveil progressive plans for Britball

The Leicester Falcons are proud to announce our new plans for not just our 2018 season; but also our plans for drastic business model changes we hope will change the course of British American Football.

Firstly, we would like to announce Joe Brammer will be joining Guy Kersey on the business side of The Falcons going forward. With Kersey & Brammer both running successful businesses in the East Midlands, their focus is now on how to legitimise the sport and bring a professional business approach to a British team.

For the 2018 season, no player on The Falcons roster shall pay subs/fees to play for the team. This comes after much discussion about the state of British Football and most importantly; How can we lower the barrier to entry not just to The Leicester Falcons, but to playing American Football. “To put it simply, the current business model we all use is putting britball on a sideways trajectory. We feel that we’d like to offer a more professional playing experience in the 2018 season. Any players looking to be a part of something new and sustainable should look to us. Our goals are to expand the Falcons and do our bit to help grow the sport in our region.”
-Joe Brammer
In an effort to show our professionalism, we will be enforcing mandatory team practice gear, that is purchased as a pack from the team. Below are a few images of what you’ll receive in the “Team Pack” for just £65.

Jersey’s have always been a problem for teams. We wanted to give players better quality jerseys that are the size they want and are personalized with their name. Below is an example of The Faclons jersey for 2018 season, this will cost players £55.

“We’ve spent the offseason working to get some great deals with some big brands, Under Armour and University of Whatever being key partners.

It’s taken a lot of work but it’s something I’ve really been working towards for years. Now we have the business model in place we’re finally able to take big steps towards being a more professional team. We’ll be announcing our 11 man coaching staff soon, all of which are on board with the new direction The Falcons are taking.”
