What it means to be a Falcon

"The last 2 years with the Falcons has been some of the most enjoyable Football I have had in my life. We are a true team in every sense of the word. We play for each other like brothers and we have no real superstars (yet). I haven't felt this good about a team and a team's spirit in ages."

"We have something special going here, I've never played on team this tight."

"Awesome to be a Falcon."

"Being a part of this team is the best thing that has ever happened to me (apart from my wife)."

"Being a part of Britbowl XXXIII and going through it with you guys was amazing, all the training over the past 2 seasons has been well worth it, all the lack of sleep has been worth it and its all because of all you guys."

"Saturday was the proudest day of my life walking out that tunnel with each one of you and at the end, after the hard work was done, being a winner along with some of the best friends I have ever had."

"I'm so proud to be part of the Leicester Falcons. You guys have no idea what this team/friends mean to us both, more than you will ever know!"

"Like some of the other senior players on this team, I've been on a lot of teams over my years but this one is so special. My only disappointment is I'm 36 not 26. I'd love to have a long playing time ahead with you guys."

"In one and a half seasons I've had more fun than I can remember anywhere. I know that every single player in a green jersey would put their body on the line for me on the field and the mutual respect is a great confidence builder for all."

"I've played sports my whole life and been involved in loads of teams and I've NEVER even come close to experiencing a team with such a strong bond and single identity as we have. I know I will legitimately look on these times as something truly special in my life and I'm so grateful they are not over."

"I'm looking forward to getting back to work in a few months time and I don't take for granted how fortunate I am to be playing the game I love with the best group of friends/team-mates I could ask for."
